This nationally accredited certificate of competency will provide a tool to validate basic nursing knowledge and skills related to the use of the V.A.C.^® Therapy System.

Description:
This program is designed to provide basic competency to wound care practitioners providing V.A.C.^® Therapy through the administration of the ANCC Accredited Nursing Skills Competency Program.

Prerequisite:
Clinicians experienced in the use of V.A.C.^® Therapy in the management of patients with wounds.

By:

employing methods of instruction that focus on specific outcomes
involving the learner in assessment
providing lab based assessment of the demonstration of specific skills
focusing on learner accountability
