Registration
Q: Can I still register?
A: Yes, online registration will be open until noon on Wednesday.
On-site registration will be open beginning Wednesday at
3 pm.
Q: Where and when is on-site registration?
A: JW Marriott Pennsylvania Avenue, Ballroom Level
Thursday: 7:00am - 7:00pm
Friday: 6:00am - 6:00pm
Saturday: 6:30am - 5:30pm
Q: If I only attend two days, what is the registration price?
A: The same as full conference price. There is a one-day registration
fee of $375 for physicians and $325 for nurses.
Q: Can I get a refund if I cancel?
A: The Diabetic Limb Salvage conference refund policy states
that no refunds will be issued after August 20, 2009. If
your registration must be cancelled, the course fee less
$150 administrative costs will be refunded if we are notified
in writing by August 20, 2009
Q: Can I apply this year’s payment to another conference
if I have to cancel?
A: Submit your cancellation and refund request in writing and
it will be considered after the conference.
Q: Do we have student prices?
A: Yes, students pay $150. Proof and letter required.
Q: Do retirees get CMEs?
A: Yes
Q: Do we have special prices for military or retired vets?
A: No for military
Yes for retired-1/2 off of the degree price.
Proof required.
Q: Who can attend the reception?
A: ALL attendees. Guests can purchase a reception guest pass
@ $50 or a companion pass @ $100. Reception pass includes
welcome reception & dinner with open bar, companion pass

conference meals and access to exhibits.
Q: I did not sign up for the workshops. Can I attend?
A: Yes, all workshops and symposia are included in the registration
fee.
Q: Are there one-day rates?
A: Yes, for physicians the cost $375, and for nurses the price
is $275.
Q: Are there scholarships available?
A: No
Q: Do we have special pricing for handicapped individuals?
A: No
Abstracts
Q: Has my abstract been accepted?
A: Check the dlsconference.com website under abstracts, if
it was accepted it will be listed.
Q: Where will abstracts be set up?
A: In the Garden Terrace, on the lobby level.
Abstract Viewing will take place:
Thursday from 12:00 – 8:00 PM
Friday 7 AM – 7 PM
Saturday 7 AM – 5 PM
Q: What is the set-up schedule for abstracts?
A: Wednesday 3:00 PM through Thursday at noon
Q: What is the schedule for taking down abstracts?
A: We ask that all abstracts be taken down on Saturday at 5:15,
immediately after the conference ends. DLS will not be responsible
for shipping back your poster abstract.

Q: What time is exhibitor set up?

Q: Will there be lead retrieval?
A: Lead retrieval is available to purchase from Multisoft before
the conference for $250 or at the conference for $280.

A: No, but lead retrieval will be available.
Q: Is the exhibitor ballroom carpeted?
A: Yes
Q: What is included in tabletop space?
A: 6-foot table, 2 chairs, booth sign and 2 registrations
